In a now-viral Facebook video that's amassed over 5.1 million views, Katherine Smith Lockler basically calls people out for their lack of common sense when it come to avoiding the flu.It is a cesspool of funky flu at the ER right now…If you don’t have a true emergency, this would not be the time to come to the emergency room,” she says.

The emergency room nurse explains that yes,  “If you’re not aware of how the flu is spread, the only way you can get it is through your eyes, your nose, or your mouth. That means you touch something and you rub your eye, you can get the flu. If someone coughs near you and then you inhale it through your nose or through your mouth you can get the flu,” she says.
Watch this, I’m going to teach you a magic trick, it’s amazing,” Katherine says. She then fakes a sneeze and directs the blow into her elbow. For another LOL, she repeats the whole thing in slow motion. Oh, and she also has a message for everyone yelling at her about the long wait in the emergency room these days: “If you ain’t dying currently, you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer,” she says.Katherine ends by asking everyone to thank an ER nurse or doctor. I might've offended people but it went viral and good information, maybe because of the way I said it, has gotten to people who might not have gotten it,” she told them.
